Yes. Our East Northport salon is open on Saturday, 9am to 5pm, the same hours we keep Tuesday through Friday. If that was the whole question, you can stop reading and go look at what is actually open on the calendar.

Short answer

East Northport is open Tuesday to Saturday, 9 to 5, and closed Sunday and Monday. Saturday appointments can be booked online, so you can see what is open instead of calling around.

Most people searching for a groomer "open Saturday" are not casually browsing. They have a dog who needed a bath a week ago, a work schedule that does not bend Monday to Friday, and a short window on the weekend. That is a fair thing to want, and it deserves a straight answer rather than a contact form.

Yes — Saturdays, 9 to 5

We are at 16 Laurel Rd in East Northport, and Saturday is a normal full working day for us. Same team, same services, same price list as a Wednesday. There is no weekend surcharge and no shortened schedule.

What we do at this location is grooming, and only grooming. Bath and brush runs $35 to $120 depending on your dog's weight. A full groom with a haircut runs $70 to $155, again by weight — smallest dogs at the bottom of the range, largest at the top. Those are the published prices, and the weekend does not change them.

Our hours, both salons

We run two salons. Here is the whole picture in one place, so you do not have to hunt through two listings.

East Northport is grooming only — no daycare, no boarding, no shop. Ronkonkoma is the larger site and does grooming plus daycare, overnight boarding and retail.

Closed Sunday and Monday: what that actually means for you

Being closed two days a week is worth saying out loud, because it changes how you should plan. We groom five days here, Tuesday through Saturday, and Saturday is the only one of those five that falls on a weekend.

The practical consequence is simple: look at the calendar earlier in the week rather than on Saturday morning. Not because of any manufactured urgency — we are not going to tell you the day is about to vanish — but because if Saturday does not have what you need, you still have Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to work with, and you will only know that if you check with time to spare.

A Saturday booking makes sense if

  • Weekdays genuinely do not work with your job or your kids' schedule
  • Your dog is due for a full groom and the coat is starting to hold tangles
  • You want one trip that handles bath, brush-out, nails and tidy-up together
  • You would rather drop off in the morning and collect in the afternoon

You may not need us at all if

  • Your dog is a short, smooth coat and a bath at home goes fine
  • It has been under four weeks since a full groom and nothing is matting
  • You only want a nail check and your vet already does it at a visit
  • Your dog is unwell — that is a vet appointment, not a grooming one

A groomer who tells you when to skip the appointment is worth trusting on the ones you actually need.

The Sunday option: our Ronkonkoma salon

If Sunday is the only day that works for you, East Northport cannot help — but our other salon can. Ronkonkoma is at 835 Portion Rd, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779, and it is open seven days a week, 9am to 5pm. It is a short drive from here.

It is the same company, the same standards and the same booking system. The difference is scale: Ronkonkoma also runs daycare, overnight boarding and a retail shop, so if you have ever wanted grooming and boarding handled in one stop, that is the site that does it. If your Sunday is genuinely the only free morning you have, book there rather than waiting a week for our Tuesday.

East Northport

We are at 16 Laurel Rd, in East Northport — a hamlet in the Town of Huntington, Suffolk County, with Northport to the north, Commack to the south, Greenlawn to the west and Fort Salonga to the east. The Town of Huntington's off-leash dog run is also in East Northport, at 106 Deposit Rd, open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and weekends 9am to 4pm. It needs a free Town permit, a licensed dog that is spayed or neutered with a current rabies vaccination and at least four months old, and it is two dogs per visit. Worth knowing the order of operations: a dog run is a good place to get a clean coat filthy, so run it after the groom, not before.

How to see real openings instead of calling around

The reason "open Saturday" is such a common search is that an hours listing only answers half the question. A salon can be open and still have nothing free at the time you need. What you actually want is availability, and you can check ours yourself.

1

Open the booking page

Start on the grooming page of our site. Booking runs online, which means you can look at what is open without phoning to ask.

2

Know which salon you need

East Northport for Tuesday through Saturday. Ronkonkoma if it has to be a Sunday or a Monday.

3

Choose the service and your dog's size

Bath and brush, or a full groom with a haircut. Pricing is published by weight — $35 to $120 for a bath and brush, $70 to $155 for a full groom — so your dog's weight band is what sets where you land in the range.

4

Take a Saturday time, or a weekday one

If Saturday does not have what you want, Tuesday through Friday are right there as well. Either way you have an answer in a couple of minutes rather than a couple of days.

Being able to do that is less common locally than it should be. Of 18 Long Island salons we audited from their own public websites, only 7 offered online booking at all, and only 3 published any pricing. That is exactly why we do both: the price ranges are on the site, and the appointment times are online where you can see them.

Two things a Saturday cannot fix

If the coat is matted tight to the skin, the humane outcome is a shave-down rather than an hour of pulling a brush through it, and no appointment time changes that — we will talk you through it before we start. And if you have found a lump, a hot spot, a limp or an ear that smells wrong, we will flag it for you, but the appointment you need is with your vet. We spot things. We do not diagnose them.

Questions people actually ask

Are you open this Saturday?

Yes. East Northport is open every Saturday, 9am to 5pm. The booking page shows which Saturday times are open.

Are you open Sunday?

Not in East Northport — we are closed Sunday and Monday there. Our Ronkonkoma salon at 835 Portion Rd is open seven days, 9am to 5pm.

Does a Saturday appointment cost more?

No. Prices are the same every day we are open. Bath and brush is $35 to $120 and a full groom with haircut is $70 to $155, both banded by your dog's weight.

Can I just turn up on a Saturday?

Please book first. Grooming is scheduled work with a set amount of table time per dog, so arriving without an appointment usually means a wasted trip. Booking online takes a couple of minutes and shows you what is open.

Do you groom cats?

No, dogs only, at both salons.

Can my dog stay for the day or overnight?

Not at East Northport — this location is grooming only. Ronkonkoma offers daycare and overnight boarding alongside grooming.
